Apart from blind rivet nuts our automatic systems can also handle bolts, clips, rivets, studs and pins. These systems are referred to as setting systems rather than automatic  screwdrivers. STÖGER setting systems position the fasteners in the work piece without using force while controlling the parameters during the setting process. The loading control monitors the proper setting process.

In contrast to the setting system the pressing system uses force to position and tighten the fastener in the work piece. The correct positioning and tightening of the fastener is checked though a force-displacement-measurement.

STÖGER has developed a special riveting system for the fully automatic processing of expanders. The expanders are automatically fed into the riveting system through a feed unit. The force-displacement-measurement ensures correct riveting, which requires a high degree of force.
